03.07.2015 Travelling from Brno in the northerly direction will be more comfortable thanks to modernization
Modernization of the track section between Brno-Maloměřice and Brno-Židenice was inaugurated today by Railway Infrastructure Administration as an investor of the project. The main benefit of this project will be in particular increased speed limit and higher comfort and safety of passengers.
Track adaptations, building new platforms, reconstruction of current railway stations and crossings as well as modernisation of safety and communication equipment – all of this will be included in the revitalisation of the line Pardubice – Ždírec nad Doubravou which as festively launched today by the Railway Infrastructure Administration at Chrudim railway station.
24.06.2015 The Railway Infrastructure Administration started reconstructing the line Klatovy – Železná Ruda
New tracks, new platforms, new safety equipment. All of this will appear on the line Klatovy – Železná Ruda in a section almost fifty kilometres long. A festive launch of this extensive reconstruction occurred with the participation of guests from Germany in the premises of Železná Ruda-Alžbětín railway station, situated right on the Czech-German border.

Today, the Railway Infrastructure Administration as construction investor festively launched line modernisation in the section Modřice - Brno-Horní Heršpice. The main asset of the project will be especially a line speed increase but also higher comfort and safety for passengers
Today, the Railway Infrastructure Administration festively launched modernisation of the passenger building at the Karlovy Vary Upper railway station by a traditional tap on the rail. Within the construction in preparation, the current passenger building will be gradually demolished and a quite new building will be built in its place, based on a design of the architect Petr Franta.
Today, the Railway Infrastructure Administration festively completed modernisation of railway crossings on the single-track line from Valašské Meziříčí to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Five railway crossings with roads underwent reconstruction. The project’s assets can be seen mainly in safer, smoother and faster railway transport.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration festively launched the modernisation of safety equipment on the line Jaroměř – Stará Paka. The project’s objective is especially increasing operation safety on the railway by limiting the human factor impact and introducing remote control of safety equipment.

The Railway Infrastructure Administration (SŽDC) joins already as a tradition the worldwide International Level Crossing Awareness Day. This year is dedicated to a collision of a passenger train with a truck and to the following rescue of wounded people.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration prepared as of Sunday 14 June 2015 a regular change of the passenger transport timetable for more than sixty railway lines with regular operation and for several others operated by nostalgic and excursion trains. All exceptional 2015 timetable changes published up to now are also included in this regular change. Al adaptations are based on requirements from respective transport operators and administrative regions.
Today, the Railway Infrastructure Administration festively launched modernisation of new railway crossings on the line between Kutná Hora and Zruč nad Sázavou. Six railway crossings with roads are going to be reconstructed. The project will increase railway operation safety in this section and will contribute to higher comfort for passengers.
