Interoperability in the railway section Břeclav - Brno

The aim of the construction is to supplement interoperability elements on the railway section of the state border Austria – Břeclav – Brno Horní Heršpice. In all cross-station sections except for the section of the state border – Břeclav a centralized electronic automatic block will be deployed; the current line safety and signalling equipment will be maintained only in the aforementioned section of the state border – Břeclav. In all stations except for the railway station Břeclav and Brno Horní Heršpice track circuit detectors will be replaced. Considering those changes the present power supply from the cable 6kV/75Hz will be altered to traction feeding. Along the whole section there will be a 36-fibre-optic cable and a lineside cable TCEPKFLEZE 15XN0,8. Flashing light crossing signals on km 80,513 and 81,695 will be reconstructed. On km 96,870 a firing indicator will be installed. Related modifications will be carried out on structures, bridges and culverts, superstructure and on heavy-current, traction and communication equipment.
