Reconstruction of the railway station Ostrava, 1st part Ostrava Hrušov - Bohumín Vrbice
| Culverts: | 2 |
Railway substructure and superstructure
Under the reconstruction is the trackage of the cross-station section adjusted to the requirements of the structure gauge and the loading gauge Z-GC. In the cross-station section the tracks are designed in the minimum distance between track-centres 4,1 m with the transition to a new minimum distance between track-centres in stations - 4,750 m. Under the individual structures of the railway superstructure and substructure, the following will be carried out:
- Removal of the current track No. 2
- Reconstruction of railway superstructure, rehabilitation of substructure including the installation of a functioning drainage of the current track No. 1 and 0. The UIC60/B91superstructure with elastic baseplateless fastening will be embedded and a continuous welded track will be set up
- Supplementing of a new trackside equipment along the whole section of the reconstruction
- Removal of unnecessary concrete foundations
The structure of the railway superstructure provides for a safe ride of a guided vehicle with the maximum admissible axle load 22,5 t for the load class D4.
Bridge structures
In the respective section there are 2 structures - culverts. Below one structure there is continuous watercourse. With regard to the current defined function of both culverts and in compliance with the conclusions of the hydraulic assessment of the location, the conclusions from discussions with the hydraulic engineer OKD a. s., the assessment of the construction impact on the environment, the approvals of the inventor’s representatives there will be removal of the pipe culvert on km 271,033.
Structures and noise protection measures
With regard to the technology transition in the railway station Ostrava Hrušov, the technological equipment in the signal box will be transferred from the room in 2. N.P. to the former 6kV switchroom on the ground floor.
The scope of noise protection measures compared to the previous level of the project documentation was reduced on the basis of a direct acoustical measurement performed in Ostrava Hrušov and Bohumín Vrbice on 27th March 2008. The figures received from the acoustical measurement made the calculating model more accurate.
In urban area of Vrbice nad Odrou (Bohumín) 8 structures have been selected to be modified with individual noise protection measures. 5 residential buildings have been selected to be reconstructed in urban area of Ostrava-Hrušov.
Heavy-current equipment, distribution systems and lighting
The current outdoor lighting will be dismantled including JŽ masts and lighting towers and it will be replaced by lighting placed on contact line support structures powered from a low-voltage switchroom inside the signal box building in Ostrava Hrušov and controlled from the commanding post. At the railway station Ostrava Hrušov under the reconstruction of the line Ostrava Hrušov - Bohumín Vrbice a long-distance control system and monitoring of the outdoor station lighting will be built.
Contact line system
The reconstructed section will focus on the reconstruction of the contact line system of the tracks No. 1 and 0 (new No.2). The contact line system of the track No. 2 will be dismounted. The reconstruction consists in building new contact line support structures and in the installation of a new contact wire and a carrying cable. The current reinforcing feeder will be re-hung on new support structures. On both ends of the reconstructed section there will be a new electric contact line sectioning. Due to re-lining of the tracks the contact line support structures will be relocated on km 271,350 to 271,750.
In the district of Bohumín Vrbice there will be adjustments of the contact line system induced by setting up the dead-end track No. 604b. Some contact line support structures on the side of the railway station Ostrava central station, district Hrušov and the railway station Bohumín, district Vrbice will be utilized for fixing of lights and outdoor lighting equipment.
The contact line system has been designed according to the set "J" for the speed of up to 160 km/h. The contact line masts will mostly be on monolithic foundations with rock bolts. The protection of dead parts of the contact line system and metal structures will be performed by individual earthing with the use of over-voltage protection. A part of the earthing structure is also the supervision over providing tracking path of the return traction current according to ČSN 341530.
Station safety and signalling installation
In the line safety and signalling installation of the section Ostrava H rušov - Bohumín Vrbice. The construction works will affect the current station safety and signalling installation in the railway station Ostrava Hrušov and Bohumín Vrbice. Both adjoining railway stations are equipped with the station safety and signalling installation of the 3rd category according to TNŽ 342620 type ESA 11. The successive railway section to Bohumín Vrbice is equipped with the line safety and signalling installation of the 3rd category according TNŽ 342620, the double-sided three-mark automatic block - type ABE-1.
Line safety and signalling installation
The current line safety and signalling installation will be switched off simultaneously during construction works on the reconstructions of the trackage and later adjusted and switched on back into operation. After completion of construction works, new outdoor components of the automatic block will be attached and necessary transfers of the current equipment will be carried out.
Communication equipment
Due to the implementation of the new alignment of the line, considering the implementation of the drainage system of the substructure and with regards to the new setting of the foundations of the contact line masts, the path relocation - DOK 12-fibre profile has been designed. The total length of the transfer 2 490 m and TK - profile
20XN0,8 – is transferred in the total length of 1 828 m
