The Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization (SŽDC) keeps investing more financial means in the protection of level crossings. This year, the management of the company pushed a record amount of CZK 370 million through. SŽDC will continue to take precautionary measures as well as to invest in the enhancement of safety at the level crossings. Regular meetings with regional transport commissions proceed with a view to selecting such level crossings which urgently need to be invested in.
