The Railway Infrastructure Administration is going to support a professional school in Brno
Brno, 2 April 2015 – The Railway Infrastructure Administration (SŽDC), the South Moravia Region and the Secondary School of Informatics and Communications Brno signed today an agreement of cooperation. This agreement will regulate e.g. recruiting students to enter this school, organising courses and training for teachers of specialised subjects as well as innovating school training programmes in the field of signalling and safety technology.
The agreement is based on the fact that both the Railway Infrastructure Administration and the South Moravia Region as founder of regional secondary schools are aware of the necessity to deepen cooperation of public professional education with important state institutions in joining theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
”The Railway Infrastructure Administration is an important social partner in the field of education and long-term cooperation with selected professional schools in the whole Czech Republic,“ said Mr Pavel Surý, Director General of the Railway Infrastructure Administration.
Students of the professional school in Brno will thus get the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge on specialised subjects directly at selected workplaces of the Railway Infrastructure Administration. The document also stipulates creating conditions for supporting talented young people within the so-called Students Training Centre, thanks to which pupils and students can improve their knowledge and skills in selected fields of transport telematics. The agreement also includes cooperation with other institutions within professional education of grown-up persons.
