26.04.2012

Bylnice, 26th April 2012 – another significant project co-funded by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund within the Operational Programme Transport – the Reconstruction of railway station Bylnice – Ist construction“ - was launched on today´s festive occasion. The investor of the construction is the Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization (SŽDC).

The objective of the construction is the reconstruction of major section of the track facility of railway station Bylnice. The reconstruction of the track facility will result in markedly enhanced speed-time parameters of tracks. Track No. 1, 2 and 4 will be reconstructed and lining and levelling of Track No. 3 and 4a (by the new numbering) will be carried out within the scope of the first construction. Ing. Bohuslav Navrátil, SŽDC´s Deputy DG for Rail Operation commented on today´s festive occasion:

„Better comfort for passengers will be achieved through new platforms providing a barrier-free access including the orientation system. The station will be equipped with new lighting of the open-air space and platforms; switches will be equipped with electric switch heating, which will enhance operation reliability of the railway infrastructure, in particular in winter months.“

A new technological building will be built for new signalling and telecommunication installations enhancing the traffic safety and for the transformer station, the low-voltage switchroom and the stand-by power supply. It will also house a new station dispatcher room. The control and diagnostics of the lighting, electric switch heating and other technological equipment installed in the station will be carried out by means of a recently-built system of remote diagnostics. A new antenna mast for the technology of the track radio system (TRS) will also be built. TRS equipment will be housed in the telecommunication room, the recording system (ReDat) in the station dispatcher room.

The construction deals with the replacement of the current electromechanical station interlocking (SZZ) with dependent commanding posts for new station interlocking SZZ of the 3rd (top) category of electronic type which does not require any attendance. This will substantially decrease the error rate of human factor.

The contractor of the construction is the „Association Vlára 2012“; the chief member is SIGNALBAU, a.s. and the member of the association is TOMI-REMONT, a.s. The developer of the construction was MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s.
