Primarily, track superstructure and substructure of main tracks in the Český Těšín Station will be involved by the reconstruction. Also, pedestrian subway will be repaired to allow barrier-free access using lifts. All the platforms will have standard heights 550 mm above top of rail. All these measures will increase traffic speed up to 120 km/h, with maximum speed of tilting trains reaching 150 km/h. New traction transformer station will also be built.
