Thanks to a financial contribution of the city of Strakonice, this underpass ensures smooth access to trains both from direction of the bus station and to inhabitants living in localities Podsrpenská and Přední Ptákovice. A new information system helps passengers quick orientation in a heavily frequented transport junction, safety in the station premises is monitored by a camera system.
