For the first time, SŽDC Student Cup pays a visit to Hradec Králové
Hradec Králové, 16 September 2015 – The city of Hradec Králové is hosting the latest year of SŽDC Student Cup for the first time in its three-year history. This sports and educational event of the Czech railway infrastructure manager for pupils of the 8th – 9th class of primary schools will take place within the premises of a detached workplace of the High Industry and Technical School and Training Centre in Hradec Králové, Hradecká Street.
The project’s objective is to motivate primary school pupils who take a decision on their future profession to study technical fields. By means of knowledge tests in ten branches they can get acquainted with selected professions at SŽDC. All of this is prepared for Wednesday 16 September starting 8:30 AM in the premises of the school cooperating in the organization of the Cup at Hradecká Street 647.
Five high schools specializing in training future railwaymen will be introduced to participants of the event. All interested persons will have the opportunity to visit the premises of the High Industry and Technical School and Training Centre in Hradec Králové.
The Student Cup will be concluded by awarding valuable prizes to pupils with the best results in all branches and proclaiming the total winner who will receive the Cup of SŽDC Director General Mr. Pavel Surý.

This can be seen by the participation of more than a thousand of pupils during the fire previous events of this project which lets them get acquainted with our organization as a dynamic company where they will be able to fully develop and use their skills”, says Mr. Pavel Surý, Director General of the Railway Infrastructure Administration.
Hradec Králové is the third city to organize the SŽDC Student Cup. The first year took place in 2013 in Prague, the city of Brno became a setting for this event last year and it returned there after a year precisely one week ago.
