The Railway Infrastructure Administration (RIA) organized a one-day event under the name “RIA Student Cup” on June 25, 2014.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration (SŽDC) is currently finishing repairs of the line from Pečky to Kouřim, impassable for more than a year. On this occasion, special historical rides of trains and buses will take places on Saturday 28 June on the lines Pečky – Bošice – Kouřim and Bošice – Bečváry. Besides Ropid and SŽDC companies, their organisers are also the carriers KŽC Doprava and OAD Kolín.

A Director’s control day took place today at the Olomouc Railway Station reconstruction site together with an inspection of the project concerning this important railway junction’s modernisation.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration prepared a planned change of passenger trains’ timetable starting on Sunday 15 June 2014.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organisation (SŽDC) together with the German infrastructure manager DB Netz continues preparing the renewal of the Aš – Selb Plössberg line. International operation should start there in December next year.
A tapping on the foundation stone inaugurated the second stage of the transport terminal construction in Uherský Brod. The construction’s investor is the city of Uherský Brod, financial resources for construction works in the railway station premises will be provided by the Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organisation (SŽDC); another partner is the Zlín Region Public Transport Coordinator (KOVED). The project implementation was supported by the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration (RIA) regularly joins the global ILCAD (International Level Crossing Awareness Day) campaign. This year’s campaign is dedicated to collisions with people on the tracks.
The Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organisation festively completed the project “Reconstruction of Bridge in km 2.089 on Děčín – Jedlová Line“. This important construction which replaced the original provisional steel railway bridge construction over the Elbe River in Děčín is co-financed by the European Union under the Cohesion Fund through the Operational Programme Transport.
28.05.2014 Reconstruction of a key traction substation on the whole Czech railway network is finished
Today the Railway Infrastructure Administration festively finalised the reconstruction of a traction substation in Pečky railway station which is situated on Czech Rail Transit Corridor I on the Praha – Kolín line section. From the point of view of the total Czech rail network modernisation, this investment can be seen as an important step. The Pečky traction substation is a key power feeding point not only for domestic and international rail transport but serves also testing rail circuits of the Rail Research Institute in the near village of Cerhenice.
